FC (Fixed Connection) fibre optic pigtails
- Nickel coated brass with a screw fit for easy adaptor insertion and release;
- 2.5mm Zirconia (Zr.) high tolerance ferrule (SFZ-3A-S5);
- for both multimode, singlemode, high powered laser and PM (Polarisation Maintaining) applications;
- Suitable for FLAT, UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) and APC (Angled Physical Contact) polish.
- Both FC APC R type (narrow keyway, 1.95mm) and FC APC N type (wide keyway, 2.1mm) are available.
This connector can also be terminated to any fibre from 250um (Primary, SAP-4) and 900um (Buffered, SAP-4) coated through to the alker Armoured™ stainless steel range of assemblies designed for use in extreme harsh environments.
FC UPC 900um singlemode, pictured in blue is also available in red, black or white. We also hold on stock the boot for the FC SAP-8 connector in black, 3mm.
