SC fibre optic pigtails
- Lightweight, plastic construction with easy to insert and release push-pull latching system reducing the chance of fibre (fiber) endface contact damage during connection;
- excellent packing density and accurate alignment via their ceramic ferrules;
- 2.5mm Zirconia (Zr.) high tolerance ferrule;
- both multimode and singlemode applications;
- FLAT polish;
- UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) polish; and
- APC (Angled Physical Contact) polish.
- The SC APC is available in 3mm, 2mm and 900um, both UPC and APC in 250um.
This connector can also be terminated to alker Micro Armoured™ stainless steel range of assemblies designed for use in extreme harsh environments.
We also hold on stock the boot for the SSCPE connector in blue, 3mm.
In addition, the SC2 is a further member of the SC connector family which has been designed with a higher level of security in mind. Once inserted to your network, an extraction tool is required to release the connector increasing the security of the network. They are widely used in datacom and telecom applications
